Whether it be serving within the church, locally  in the community or across the world, God has gifted
each and every one of us to partner with him and others to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. 

Opportunities to Serve 

Fighting Food Insecurity

We are collecting Peanut Butter, Jelly and Cereal for the food pantries at local schools. 
You can bring these items to worship on  Sunday mornings. We will also need people to  partner with us to make deliveries to the schools.

Teacher/Educator Appreciation Week

We are partnering with Bridging RVA to show our appreciation to the faculty and staff at Powhatan County Schools. Join us on May 5th to prepare lunches and help pack gift bags for distribution. You can also sign up to help make deliveries to the schools on May 6th. 
Together, let's show our appreciation for those who are helping to mold  and shape our future.

Summer Mission Trip Opportunity

SHRMP (South Hampton Roads Ministry Project)

This is a great opportunity for James River Community Church to partner with brothers and sisters from other churches in Central VA to make a difference in the lives of people living just two hours from here.  SHRMP is a great organization!
